Upcoming Presentations by LDA-SEPA

April 21: Elisabeth Lucas, MD will be speaking and she is very good.  Bio: Dr. Lucas is a Board-certified Internist who practices just North of Baltimore, MD. She attended Medical School at the University of Oklahoma and did her residency at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. She has been in practice for more than 12 years, and gradually added more and more integrative medicine into her practice. She now specializes in functional and nutritional medicine, and homeopathy along with traditional medicine applying a holistic approach to Lyme and tick-borne disease treatment.
June 5th: at Bucks County Community College (Newtown), Dr. Ann Corson, MD and Sandy Barenbaum, LCSW, BCD.  Focus is Tick Borne Diseases and neuro-psychological issues, family impact and coping with Lyme disease from a social and emotional perspective.  Sandy Barenbaum has worked extensively with Lyme youth and families in the Hudson Valley area in NY, and has written much on this topic.  Here is a link to some of her many articles:  http://www.lymefamilies.com/my_articles/.
